Getting around the client
Chat channels
Two channels are joined for you automatically:
- #main — server-wide chat. You can't leave it; it's where announcements and general talk live.
- #map — everyone on your current map. Handy for parties, WoE, and events.
Type in a channel with #main your message (or @join / @leave for the
optional ones like #trade).
The services plaza
Most day-to-day NPCs are clustered around the Prontera fountain: Warper, Healer, Job Master, Stylist, Reset, and the eXRo services — Coin Shop, Daily Hunt, Stat Trainer, Market Broker, Market Kiosk (browse and buy the player market in-town), Equipment Mall (zeny sink), and the Costume Mirror (preview any headgear or garment look for free).
Known client limits
The browser client is roBrowserLegacy with an English overlay. A few things differ from a native client:
- No in-game navigation / route panel. The minimap and world map work; the
"find this NPC" auto-route panel is off. Getting there is done with the Warper
NPC or
@go. Re-enabling the panel is being worked on and isn't a launch blocker. - No background music by default.
- Human hair colours are limited to the palettes the overlay ships; Doram has the full set.
These are tracked and chipped away at over time.
